Abstract submission
Delegates may submit up to three abstracts for presentation at the meeting. All students will be considered for the student presentation prize, kindly supported by Wiley.
Please complete one abstract template per presentation submission (template download link below), and upload within the meeting registration online form. In this form you can indicate whether you would prefer an oral or poster presentation. Prior to upload, please name your abstract files “Theme number_Surname”. For example: “1_Kamenos”.

Registration fees include:
- Access to all presentation and poster sessions
- Morning & afternoon fika (coffee breaks) & lunches during the meeting
- Transport for optional visit to Umeå Marine Sciences Centre (with afternoon fika)
- Evening welcome mixer event
- Digital abstract book & delegate bag
Please note, the registration fee does not include the conference dinner or the field trip to Tromsø.
The conference dinner will be held at Gotthards krog – an Umeå champion for sustainable Nordic cuisine, focusing on innovative processing of local ingredients (including vegetables from their own farm!). The dinner price is 850 SEK per person. It is possible to purchase additional guest ticket(s) for the dinner – please specify this in your registration form.

Registration payment
Following completion of the registration form, please pay your registration fee by card payment via the online portal (link here). Registration payments must be received before the registration payment deadline of 7 August 2023.
